Katey Johnson, M.A.,Ìýwas raised in Greenville and dual-enrolled at Ê®·ÖÁùºÏ²Ê prior to earning her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Secondary Education from Alma College.ÌýÌýÌý

She began teaching math and science at Belding High School in 2006, earned her Master of Arts in Teaching Mathematics from the University of Idaho in 2010 and her Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction in 2014. Johnson started teaching at Ê®·ÖÁùºÏ²Ê as an adjunct instructor in 2007 while teaching full-time high school math and science. She joined the staff as a full-time instructor in 2017, teaching mostly statistics, college algebra and trigonometry. ÌýÌý

Teaching at Ê®·ÖÁùºÏ²Ê has provided Johnson with an opportunity to give back to her community by empowering her students. She is inspired by the efforts and sacrifices her students make to achieve a brighter future and she works hard to assist them in their quest. Johnson is Ê®·ÖÁùºÏ²Ê's Online Education Committee Chair and Volleyball Club advisor.  ÌýÌý

Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors. She volunteers as the St. Charles School Board President in Greenville and enjoys sailing, exercising and coaching youth sports in her spare time. Ìý
