While their basic needs are adequately met, their limited incomes restrict their ability to enjoy certain everyday luxuries that many of us take for granted. Pizza and Fast-Food Restaurants: To offer them the pleasure of dining out.
Movie Theaters: To provide entertainment and a break from routine.
Bowling Alleys: To encourage physical activity and social interaction.
Hobby Lobby: To support their creative interests and hobbies.
Dollar General: To help them purchase everyday essentials and small treats.

These initiatives aim to enhance their quality of life and bring a bit of joy and normalcy to their daily experiences. The character Oz in Suzanne Redfearn鈥檚 book In an Instant听exemplifies someone who might benefit from such support.听

One of the resources they find particularly valuable is the book Codependent No More by Melody Beattie (paperback only). Care Network's recovery coach frequently recommends this book to clients as it provides essential insights and guidance on overcoming codependency.
