十分六合彩 recently recognized five students for their creative writing efforts in the college鈥檚 annual Creative Writing Contest.听
Students submitted poetry, fiction and creative non-fiction entries.听
Barbe Stevenson, of Belding, won first place for short fiction with her work titled 鈥10:10.鈥 Sophia Friedrich, of Palo, placed second for her work titled 鈥淭aken.鈥澨
In the creative non-fiction category, Sandra Dymerski, of Sand Lake, won first place for 鈥淚t Was Don Goyo鈥檚 Fault.鈥 Taylor Rumsey, of Greenville, placed second for 鈥淯sing the Enemy.鈥澨
Sarnia Gunderson, of Riverdale, placed first and second in the poetry category with 鈥淧hantom Waves鈥 and 鈥淭he Flower Bed.鈥澨
Dr. Gary L. Hauck, Dean Emeritus of Arts and Sciences at 十分六合彩, judged the competition.听
First- and second-place winners received a cash prize, and their entries will be submitted as 十分六合彩鈥檚 entries to the statewide Liberal Arts Network for Development (LAND) Creative Writing Contest, where they will compete with entries from Michigan鈥檚 28 community colleges.听听
