十分六合彩 honors 23 nursing students

十分六合彩 formally recognized the accomplishments of 23 nursing students during a pinning ceremony on Dec. 5 in the gymnasium on the college鈥檚 Sidney campus. The students were honored for completing their Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing (ADN), which prepares them for national licensure as a registered nurse.

Addisen Peterman of Edmore was chosen by her fellow classmates to address attendees during the ceremony.

鈥淥ur cohort is truly one of a kind. We have spent the last four semesters, 55 weeks and, more than likely, two of the hardest years of our lives together and today we embark on our journeys,鈥 Peterman said. 鈥淚 have never met a group more empathetic, hardworking, funny, kind, and determined as the cohort right here in front of me. We all faced our battles and had hurdles to overcome throughout our journey in nursing school, but we did it together.鈥

Peterman also highlighted the group鈥檚 tight-knit nature and how they have been a part of each other鈥檚 big life milestones in the last two years.

鈥淥n (orientation) day, the nursing faculty emphasized, 鈥楲ook around the room for a moment. These are going to become your people,鈥欌 Peterman recalled. 鈥溾楾hese are faces to remember and become familiar with. They will relate to you more than anyone, so confide in them and make friends.鈥 And boy, were they ever right. These are the people who we鈥檝e shared some of the most personal things with, the people who have seen us at highs and lows, the people who we鈥檝e shared many life milestones with and, most importantly, the people who we鈥檝e created some of the best memories with.鈥

Peterman closed the ceremony by encouraging her nursing cohort to stay connected and not to forget each other and the bond they had created.

鈥淟ooking back on all of this, during our time in the program it felt like forever, but today, it鈥檚 here,鈥 Peterman said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 time to say farewell. It truly was a pleasure to be alongside every one of you. As we leave here today, I urge all of you to keep in contact and update about your careers and lives. Thank you again to every single person in this room tonight who came to support us today. I am so proud of all of us, we did it, we made it.鈥
